Editorial Content Intern
Job Description
The Editorial Content team seeks one (1) intern to support the team as they plan, pitch and execute their strategic plans. Ideally, the intern candidate should possess strong organizational, communication and writing skills. Attention to detail and basic computer skills — to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint — are required. Previous editorial or marketing internships are a plus, as is experience with content management systems.
Primary Functions:
- Assist with website content development, including blogs and landing pages
- Research events in the Orlando area
- Update website event listings
- Secure images to accompany event listings
- Attend department meetings
- Work in an ever-changing atmosphere where each day presents a new project and learning experience
Qualifications
Basic
- Exceptional writing skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be enrolled in classes and pursuing a degree in English, journalism, creative writing, communications, marketing or advertising
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of social media platforms
Preferred
- Prior writing, editing, marketing/advertising and/or digital experience is a plus
- Prior experience with content management systems is a plus
- Ability to speak and write Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus

**Interns will be paid $15 per hour, must be enrolled in classes, & must be able to work between 20-24 hours a week. (3 days a week)
