As president and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, Freeman serves as the leading advocate for the $1.3 trillion U.S. travel and hospitality industry. He is focused on advancing the industry’s full recovery from COVID‑19, strengthening its competitiveness, and positioning travel as a critical driver of economic growth in the United States. Freeman also served as COO of U.S. Travel from 2011–2013, helping secure passage of the bipartisan Travel Promotion Act and contributing to the creation of TSA PreCheck. A veteran association executive, Freeman is known for driving organizational growth and securing major policy victories across multiple industries.
